Marshmallows and Toothpicks

Need an inexpensive indoor activity???

I bought the $1.50 bag of "rainbow"colored marshmallows, then had them seperate the colors from the bag into the cups on their own! (This gave me a double-duty activity all in one.. at this age, they just LOVE sorting.)

I did a quick demo.. 

And my 3 year old just ran with it! 

Then I tried to teach him constructing 3-dimensional. 

The finished product.. "A Bridge to the Beach!" (is what he called it)

Used a "Y" part.

Two ponytails in the back sections.

Three cornrows on the top!
